Axia at Hautes Grecians 2025
Celebrating fashion, identity, and Mediterranean spirit in Athens
On 4th June, Axia was invited to be the main drinks sponsor at Hautes Grecians 2025, Greece’s leading haute couture celebration.
This year, the event was held in the verdant garden of the Official Residence of the South African Ambassador in Athens. Now in its seventh edition, the event brought together designers, creatives, and influencers from across Europe and Africa for an unforgettable evening of fashion, cultural identity, and creative expression.
A toast to craftsmanship and creativity
As guests arrived, Axia was there to welcome them with a premium drinks experience inspired by Mediterranean flavour and ritual. Two signature Axia serves were featured at the bar: the Aegean Paloma, with its crisp, citrus edge; and the bold, vibrant Twisted Lemon.
With its smooth, extra-dry profile and zero added sugar, Axia Extra Dry Mastiha Spirit offered a refreshing alternative to the expected, redefining what a classic cocktail can be. Distilled from the resin of the Mastiha tree found on the Greek island of Chios, Axia captures the essence of Mediterranean heritage - brought to life through modern distillation and bold flavour.
A celebration of identity and expression
From established voices – like Deux Hommes and Maison Faliakos – to the next generation of talent – Markellos Polydoros and South African designer Nobukhosi Mukwevho (founder of Khosi Nkosi), the evening spotlighted some of fashion’s most creative forces. As fashion became a language of unity and identity, Axia was proud to be part of the story, reminding guests that great spirits transcend borders.
The spirit of the curious
At Axia, we believe in celebrating those who challenge the ordinary and explore culture with curiosity and intention. Hautes Grecians 2025 was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do - supporting art, creativity, and connection with a spirit that’s both rooted in tradition and ready for reinvention.
